You can read how I find & value domains with different tools. The sweet spot is finding good 2-word domains that go well together.

Ok here's the list of domains expiring soon that I like:

RentWhere.com

Drop Date - Dec 25 2020

  • With a mass exodus of companies and people from Silicon Valley make headlines, I think a site to find new locations to rent (cities/apartments) would be a fun answer to the question where.
  • Build on top of existing public housing APIs and datasets & create community on social media around moving to and creating new hubs for business & tech.

RecruitBoost.com

Drop Date - Dec 25 2020

  • This explicitly would be linked to the HR recruiting industry.
  • The action of "boost" gives you the positive value proposition your product will increase OR improve your recruitment strategies.
  • Start by creating content offering strategies to improve key HR KPIs - more qualified candidates, more offers extended, more offers accepted, something like that.
  • Then this could evolved into a saas offerings that allows HR staff to track/measure their recruitment efforts and receive customized tips to help them achieve their internal KPIs.

DriverPlan.com

Drop Date - Dec 25 2020

  • To me, this could be related to the travel/tourism industry if focused on roadtrips.
  • With more people looking to own RVs in 2020 due to covid, you could create custom routes the driver could follow to lead their family on a fun roadtrip vacation.
  • This could also be a B2B play for staff & fleet management in many different industries that have predetermined driver routes - ie waste disposal, delivery staff, construction/city workers, semi-truck drivers.
  • The B2B play would allow a level of visibility for management to view & plan routes more efficiently.

OkApps.com

Drop Date - Dec 25 2020

  • I like this name because I make mobile & web apps myself and think this is a fun self-deprecating name for a digital app studio - "We make OK apps, but provide the best experience building what you really need."
  • This good also be a place to review apps, kind of sarcastically - but offering ways you think the apps could be better.
  • The only downside for this name is OK could be perceived as OKAY when sharing through word of mouth.

SecretElf.com

Drop Date - Dec 25 2020

  • Just in time for Christmas, this could be a fun one to own and create a holiday trend behind.
  • This could be an extension of "Secret Santa" where people randomly buy gifts for other people in a family/friend group or for coworkers.
  • A quick search yields something called the secret elf gift exchange & mentions this is potentially a gift exchange with lower priced items - so you could offer those gifts for people to buy or link to other products on the internet to give people ideas.
